Gebze District Governor Mr. Mehmet Ali Özyiğit Visited Our Factory!

Gebze District Governor Mr. Mehmet Ali Özyiğit visited our factory, which is Turkey’s leading fiber optic cable production facility, operating in Gebze Organized Industrial Zone (GOSB).

District Governor Özyiğit’s visit was welcomed by our Chairman of the Board of Directors Mustafa Akşit and our General Manager Ayşe Akşit. Afterwards, District Governor Özyiğit visited the factory and received detailed information about the fiber optic cable production process. He had the opportunity to examine the testing, analysis and quality protocols made before and after production on site.

Who is Mehmet Ali Özyiğit?

Lawyer, Public Administrator, Gebze District Governor. He was born on 26 November 1967 in Konya Ereğli. He studied primary school in Osmanköseli village of Halkapınar and secondary school in Seydişehir Mahmut Esat Secondary School. He graduated from Seydişehir Industrial Vocational High School (Electrical Department) in 1984. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1988.

He started his candidacy for District Governor in Gümüşhane center. After completing his Inspection and Accompaniment internship, he stayed in Exeter, England, for 1 year to learn the language and examine the administrative structure. He served as Deputy District Governor of Kırklareli-Demirköy and Denizli-Honaz.

After starting to work as the primary District Governor in Eskişehir-Beylikova in 1993, he served as Şırnak-Silopi District Governor between 1994-1996, as Bayburt Deputy Governor between 1996-2000, as Denizli-Acıpayam District Governor between 2000-2005, and as Bilecik Bozüyük District Governor between 2005-2008. He served as Antalya Kepez District Governor between 2008 and 2013. He served as Istanbul Bahçelievler District Governor and Istanbul Deputy Governor between 02.09.2013 and 02.09.2022.
