FOTAS Debuted at KMO’s Booth at the 12th Transport and Communications Forum!

TUBITAK President, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal emphasized that the FOTAS is a domestic and national product. FOTAS is a fiber optic based acoustic detection system that was created by the cooperation of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and SAMM Teknoloji using a number of technologies such as laser, fiber optic, electronics, signal processing and artificial intelligence. KMO General Manager Aynur Uluğtekin also said:”With this project, our priority will be humans and human life. We will go a long way with the world’s first artificial intelligence-based smart transportation system, which we will put into operation to minimize loss of life.”
