ControlTec Smart SMC Snow & Ice Protection Heating Controller - ELEKTRA

The ELEKTRA ControlTec Smart SMC heating controller thermostat is intended for use in the regulation of snow and ice protection heating systems. The EN 60950-1 and EN 62311 standards are met by the ControlTec Smart SMC thermostat. The SMC can operate two heating zones separately, or one zone using two sensors. Control in extended applications, such as parking lots, pedestrian walkways, or garage drives, becomes possible as a result.

Independent control of two different zones (e.g. gutters and garage driveway) is feasible with the proper connection of sensors (ETOG-56T, ETOR-55, and ETF-744). The ControlTec Smart SMC heating controller has a WiFi module and an Ethernet connector for simple software updates and remote operation via a web browser and an administrator or user account.

The additional benefit of the ControlTec Smart SMC thermostat is the ability to change the characteristics of the moisture detector output power based on the ambient temperature, allowing for even better adaptation of the controller’s operation to the specific ambient environmental conditions.

The ControlTec Smart SMC heating controller also has an analog option for collaborating with the BMS system via a relay informing of alarm circumstances, as well as two pairs of clamps for manual switching on or stand-by of the heating system operated from the BMS level.
